pattachiitta.com explains Tamil Nadu’s land records in plain language: how to view and download your Patta Chitta, read it in English, check an FMB sketch, verify a patta someone hands you, and apply for or track a patta transfer.

We started this site because the official services are free and genuinely useful, but finding the right portal, menu and form is confusing. Many people end up on the wrong website, pay agents for something they could do themselves in minutes, or miss a problem in their land records until it delays a sale or a loan.

How we work

We take every step, menu name and fee on this site from the Tamil Nadu government’s own portals and orders, and we test the steps on the live portals ourselves. When a portal changes, we update our pages. Where we’re not certain something works the way it used to, we leave it out rather than guess.

What we are not

We are an independent website. We are not part of the Government of Tamil Nadu, the Revenue Department or any government office. We can’t view, change, approve or speed up anyone’s land records, and we never charge for anything. Every application happens on the official government portals, and every button on this site takes you straight to them.
